How many objects can a node have "mounted" to it?

Simple question. Im doing some R&D and was wondering if i have a node, how many objects (and/or other nodes in objects) can be mounted to that node. Is there a limmit?
And also, can i name nodes for mounting points with any name i wish?
ok, that was two questions =)

As for the names... i did some playing show tool, and i can mount an object to any node of any type and name, even mounting things to bones.
So, just to get this right, it seems with 1.4, you can only have 8 mount points, for use with eather a mounted image, or object (not sure what the defrance is).. as far as the max objects per node, its unclear. im guessing i can attach as many objects as i wish to one node.
i think.
Anyone have anymore info, or would some one at GG please explane.
I think this would be a good thing for TDN.

Allyn you sure? I found that it was 32 mount points, with only of these only 8 are viewable. There is an thread on this in the forum area.

I believe you have to name them all mount(X)
