Torque stops at video init.

I just reinstalled XP and updated everything, but I'm having issues getting past the video init.

I've tried it both using my GeForce FX 5200 (256Mb PCI), and my integrated intel graphics.

Before, I had no problems running Torque 1.4 at all. I'm not sure what could be interfering with it. All other games on my system seem to run fine.

Here's my console log, it doesn't really provide much...

Both graphics cards have updated drivers. I even reinstalled using driver cleaner.
I'm wondering if it has something to do with OpenGL. How do I force running directx instead?

Seems that after trying the TubeTwist demo, it flat out gicves me the typical windows error message. If anyone has had this happen to them I'd be very gracious if you could help me.

I just noticed in the windows error report, it shows "mod: glide2x.dll" for every one of the torque programs I try to run. Is it trying to use glide?
EDIT:
Ripped the dll out. Everything works fine. I wonder why this dll is still in Windows XP?
