Help me please, I'm looking for the openal library for linux and the openal.org ftp or web server seem down.
If you already have it for compiling the torque engine under linux, can you send me an email ?

Garagegames might want to look into hosting it on here or providing the source via the CVS cause if those sites go out what will we do about openal on linux?-Tim aka Spock

Seriously though, there is still a lot of interest in the
linux openal sdk, judging by the mailing list.
If icculus goes dark I expect somebody will pick it up.
The bigger issue is who is going to take over the
development of the openal specification; it seems to be
unclaimed right now.

icculus is not gonna go down. It's that simple.
And OpenAL will not disappear. There are too many people using it..
Have a little faith in icculus.

other projects, at least for the time being. You might
need to use cvs to download openal from there.
