Definitely sounds like a refresh issue on leaving the dialog.

Not sure if this helps at all, but it appears to be related to mouse movement. If I export and leave the mouse without moving it out of the exporter dialog, everything looks good. As soon as the cursor leaves the window there is a flash and then the Actions are gone.Definitely sounds like a refresh issue on leaving the dialog.

IE: I just reinstalled, and it took me a while to figure out that SOME of the files in the zip needed to be in another folder (DTSPython) that had to be created by hand. not a biggie but should be noted somewhere, its not in the readme file. I just copied the full contents of the .zip to both the ~\.blender\scripts and ~\.blender\scripts\DTSPython directories.
also, I couldn't see how the installer was supposed to work- someone above says its great... but how to I launch/use it? from what runline/console?...
What versions of Python can be used?
Thanks again, the interface looks good.

A really big help would be to keep the directory structure in the zip file.IE: I just reinstalled, and it took me a while to figure out that SOME of the files in the zip needed to be in another folder (DTSPython) that had to be created by hand. not a biggie but should be noted somewhere, its not in the readme file. Just set one of your window types to Script Window and then pick the exporter from the Scripts->Export->Torque menu in that window.
Good work Joseph. I sent changes to James just before Christmas to start to get the exporter working under 2.40, but the only torque time I've had since has been taken up with linux and mingw build issues. Thanks for working on this.

As far as forcing which pane the script is in, you can do this manually.Just set one of your window types to Script Window and then pick the exporter from the Scripts->Export->Torque menu in that window.

You shouldn't need a separate Python install on the Mac. Mine's running just fine.

@Alaris: on Windows, just double click the file "Install Scripts.js" to install the plugin. It is a shell script that gets the location of the Blender install in the registry and puts the exporter files in the right place. I guess you could also just copy the scripts as before, but this is a good addition for starters.

Is there any way to set the priority of a sequence?

I've been eating up every "how to article" on TDN I can find, and I just felt everyone involved deserved a tip of the hat. Thank you for making my life a little easier.

I've moved from Milkshape3D to Blender recently and I'm really loving Blender. I don't think I will ever be able to go back. =) It may take me some time to wrap my head around Blender's exporter, but it's worth it. This new exporter/2.4 is losing data on the mesh veticies
in the viewer the mesh is no longer attached to the bones properly.
I've got verticies on both the feet that over extent the rest of the mesh, so the "problem" verticies move at double distance tearing the mesh.
additionaly in the torso im getting verticies that are disconected and not animating (attached) at all.
working with:
new Blender install to fresh location,
exporter: DTSExporter_090RC3.zip
