DTS exporter problem

I'm a programmer, but new to Torque and 3DS max. I have 3DS 6.0 and the plug in to export DTS files. (I'm pretty sure I have the right version max6_2dtsExporter.dle dated 6/6/2005 and ms2dtsExporter.dll 6/1/2005)
When I tried to export a model, and first I got the error "No Boundin Box" I found out I needed to make a box around the model for the plugin, and call it "bounds". I made it invisible. This seemed to satisfy the plug in, but then I get the message "No Details...." It created a DTS file, but when I view it in the Torque game engine, I get a model that seems elongated, and has no textures. Also, It seems to be a courser mesh than I created in 3DS.
Does anyone have any info on this?
