Torque Lighting Kit

I was wondering somethign about the TLK. when you make textures for models do you need to have them shaded like you would normally? http://www.geocities.com/wc3images2/b.jpg
Or is the TLK able to handel light and shadow well enough to create a better effect so the texture would be unshaded? http://www.geocities.com/wc3images2/a.jpg

Okay I see what you're saying the problem with shading the drawing like that is if the light is coming from a different angle you're shading doesn't change. TLK does do that and no you wouldn't need to shade your texture if you were using it.

Well torque and the TLK do vertex shading. So there will be some shading done in relation to the light source. however, it is not per pixel shading.. so it's really not attractive looking with just lighting... yet.
TLKs shading does however look nicer. You could try asking again in the TLK forumn if my response didn't get you the answer you wanted.
