Torque 1.4 Missing Terrain Tile

I ran into this problem with stock 1.4 several weeks ago - I haven't messed with it, assuming this would get noticed elsewhere, but I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem.
I modified F-World, and got this missing texture. I covered it over a little bit with water and by a hill, but I can't patch it up through the editor. Anyone got some ideas?

What causes this in the first place? Just an error or is it by design?I found when it happened to me my player fell through and that the hole is not visible until you are close to it. Just curious...

I didn't know how this hole started. As soon as I modified the terrain, the hole appeared and didn't go away (so I guess it DOES constitute a bug - I didn't create it deliberately), but I'm glad to know it's easily fixed. I KNEW there was something to create and remove those holes, somewhere in the back of my mind, but I didn't even think about it.

Setting the empty is there so that you can travel under the terrain with the use of a DIF, so yes it's by design. IIRC the default levels do have holes in some places.

You can fill that hole in as follows:
1. Start the kit.
2. Load the mission
3. Start the World Editor (F11)
4. Find the hole
5. Switch on the Terrain Editor (F6)
6. From the menu at the top of your screen, select "Action -> Clear Empty"
7. Run your brush over the hole.
Viola! The hole is gone.
