Hello,
first i want to say that i use blender 3d for all of my modeling.

ok so i have two major problems. the first one is that i have a mesh for my character, and a skeleton. it looks and works great. but after i export it, the bones move but the mesh doesnt move (deform) with it.

second. i made a weapon and again it looks and works great in blender but after the export, the locations of the nodes get all messed up. it doesnt make sense anymore to me. can anyone please help me???

If you are using Blender 2.4, you need to take some time and learn the new ways in which animation is handled.

Here's an updated manual for Blender 2.4 armature stuff:

I think that you need to "bake" the animation in blender. What happens is you key the skeleton in blender and the verts follow, when you export, the skeleton is keyed and the verts are not. hope it helps.

"Help! nothing makes sense anymore"

What you need is some spiritual enlightenment. I know of a great cult down in Texas...

Hmm, i beleive i found a solution. but it messed up some of the vertices int he blend file, i'll continue once i repeaired my mesh. also i fixed the problem with the weapon (i didnt clear rotation)
