Start with alpha or previous version?

I'm about to start learning T2D, and I don't know whether to start with the new alpha, or use the previous release. I did a few tutorials a couple months back (before I got slammed at work), and I remember some terms were incorrect because the documentation had been updated (removing 3D terminology, I think?) but the code had not yet been updated.

So which would be better for someone just starting out with T2D, who doesn't know much TGE either?

Thanks in advance!

Alpha is fairly stable, I'd suggest using it :) Also the TDN stuff is using Alpha.

Yeah just start with alpha (at least 1.1a) otherwise you'll have to deal with modifying your scripts later

Plus there are some cool features built into the alpha versions that aren't in the non-alpha versions. .moveTo and .rotateTo are my new favourite commands :)
