Hi all

We are offering our Tridinaut weapons packs for 10$ per pack. This is limited offer and valid only for end of this year. We'll be back to old 30$ price after new year.

Both packs are addopted for Torque.

More info on modern weapons support for Torque:

-All weapons are exported to .dts shapes
-Weapons have bounding boxes and collision boxes for pick up
-All weapons have 3 LODs ranging from like 1300 polys -> 300 approx
-All weapons have mount points, muzzle points and eject points for bullet case ejections
- The weapons packs have all the setup and heiarchy in .max files (studio 7) so you can change things easily
- Scaled to fit the soldier pack and have been tested in game and torque show tool pro

The quality of this modern weapons pack is phenomenal! They look even better in-game than they do in the screenshots. Everything is there, right down the selector switches and bolt mechanisms. You can be assured that I'll be waiting for the next modern firearms pack with my debit card at the ready.

Can we see any closeups of the modern weapon models or wireframe pictures?
Would definatly make me more interested in buying them.

Are the Medieval weapons game ready? With the script files etc.? I am particularly interested in the bow and arrow and cross bow? Is your crossbow different from the one that comes with the fps demo? I will pick one up regardless but just wanted to know in advance how much work i have to do to get them in game.

Hi Afrin, I see that you have already bought them :) Thanks!

We have not put any scripts for the crossbow, took us 6 month to develop this pack, model, unwrap, texture, make lod levels, export to Torque, test, then repet, etc, so sorry no scripts in this realease, but I think if you can Torque scripting and the way Torque works, this won't be hard for you to add and you can share that with community if you wish :)

Don't have any right now, but for 10$ you can't miss this bargain, if you need them you won't find this quallity of work on any other site for 10$ ;)

edit:
they have 3 LOD levels if I remeber correctly, so they won't slow down your game, and meshes are in range of 800-1800 polys in avarage...

you can see closeups on our website, but no wires there...

Nermin,

Reason to me asking is that the closeups are aligned in such a way that it's hard to tell if the detail is on the mesh, or the texture. A detailed texture with a very undetailed mesh can look bad ingame. Doesn't matter if it's $10 for me if I can't use it. ;)

Thanks for your reply.

Edit: 800-1800 polygons sounds great, but on the website it says 800-1000.

I just want to say that this pack is totally worth 10 times the price or more.
The weapons are of FANTASTIC quality. IMHO they are totally game ready.

I bought um both. Worth it at full price let alone $10.

They are worth it, even if you had to modify them. Thats less work than creating them from scratch. Think about it $10 for 50 objects! How long would it take you to create just one. I value the little time that I have so $10 is worth just looking at them.

I just orded my copy. Not sure how/where I can download it from, but it says the transaction went through.

Does anyone know if you still get the TSE shader stuff when ordering off Tridinaut? Because that's why I bought the pack in the first place(to stick in TSE). :/

All you get is the models in many different formats. Which I still think its a great deal!

I remember seeing these when they were first launched and being very tempted then. So, I just bought them both on general principal; even though I don't currently have a need for them it's a *fantastic* resource to have handy.

Thanks very much for the end-of-year special!

I just snagged the medieval weapons pack. My order is being "reviewed for quality." I'm still thinking about the modern weapons pack. The price is excellent, but I just don't see myself doing a game where I'd use them in the forseeable future.

Nope not TSE in this pack for medieval, we don't own TSE yet, and I know nothing about shaders and how they work in TSE :) If you got TSE and got any idea about how they work then buying this pack you save your self whole lot of time and money :)

Jay if your order doesn't got thru or something, you can use paypal to send money as well, just contact us before you do so :)

Thanks anyone who buyed, we're not making any big money on this as you may guess. It's pocket money for me and still has to be split in 3 parts. I'm gonna invest my part in developing further packs for Tridinaut.com

You buying these packs is like supporting us to build more stuff :)=

Order went through just fine - took about 1/2 hour. The pack is downloaded. Thanks for the sale, Nermin! That's awesome.

I hope you invest in Blender, ;) , I would really like blend files of these.

If I could chew the Blender interface then perhaps, I'll perhaps have a look at it ;)

I've also recieved my pack. Looked at all the models in TSTP and they are impressive. Now I just need some character models to mount them to. ;)

Edit: Anyone know if the TSE enhancements offered by GG includes normal maps? Or is it just material definitions?
