Tim,

I know you probably have been asked this MANY times
so please just bear with me.

- When the source code is finally ready what is the
process we will need to go through to get it?
i.e. What paperwork is involved? Can it be electronic?

- How will the source and other stuff be delivered?
Do we get a CD or is it distributed electronically?

- How will updates to source work? Revision control
stuff.

- How do we report bugs...that is if we find any.

- How do we pay you? Will there be online purchases?

I guess I am trying to get an understanding how it is
all mechanically going to work.

Thanks,

Rex

You will need to fill out electronic forms with your real address, etc. Click on ACCEPT for the license agreement is now legally binding.

The original code drop is via CD. Updates will be via download in the password protected area of the site.

    I defer to Tim.

    Internal forums. Email.

On-line purchase like PayPal or equivalent.

As Jeff stated, the initial version will be shipped out on CD. We are running CVS internally, and as soon as we get a chance to sort out how we'll manage the CVS we'll make that available. The main issues with the CVS: integrating the access rights with our developer profiles, and determining how we'll accept and merge developer submissions.

Bugs will probably be tracked on the forums to start with, but a bug tracking system is on our list of things to do. It shouldn't be hard to whip something together using the support code we wrote for this site.
