Perhaps off-topic. Installing MS Platform SDK?

Does anybody else have problems installing the Platform SDK from Microsoft?? When I klick the PSDK-X86 file, I get the Windows Installer window that says that it's preparing the installation. Then it seems to hang. Or is it perhaps really slow??

I re-installed it about 2-3 days ago and I had no problems and only took me about 20 minutes or so.

The previous time it took me about 3 hours, and it decided to crash about 90% of the way through an install.

I've figured it out. It's my installation of Norton Internet Security that caused problems. For some reason it never asked if I want to allow the installation program to access the internet. Instead it just refused access, so the installation program just stopped.

But when I deactivated internet security, the installation went fine.
