Im new to mapping
im using quark to make maps for tge...
i had a bit of trouble setting up configurations so i just saved my maps as .map format and dragged them onto the map2dif_debug.exe...
thing is when i try to open them in torque i get an invalid packet message! :/
are some map2dif exe's outdated? ..i got the one from the quark site cus most tut's seem to use map2dif_debug instead o map2dif_plus...
the thing i tried to export was simple boxes.. stuff like that
anybody able to enlighten me to the errors of my ways?.

exporting from quark to .map format and using map2dif_plus.exe works fine..!
and avoids the minor fiddliness of setting up quark's configuration
