First and second attempts at Buildings (dif)

Just got 3dws and welp here is the first 2 tries at buildings

this is my first building

and my second which you can walk into and has lighting

any comments will be helpful, these are ported into torque with zero problems

is that * 3dws * as in the prod over at cartography shop ? Didn't think the app was available yet..

Aye its 3dws from www.leadwerks.com working just fine and ports directly into torque. works great as far as i can tell. cartography shop is different and i think you need the torque pipeline to port into torque. 3dws is still early adopt but sofar so good.

Looks great DB. My only comment would be the roof edges... need a bit of work there I think. Great job for first go so keep it up and share some more with us :)

..just one query tho .. does 3dws rely on the garagegames map2dif pipe or does it render under it's own?

Looks pretty good, Deja. A few critiques for you:

The textures are good, but they don't seem to match up too well (i.e., the door and shutters in the first building look new compared to the building that they are attached to.); unless you're just concentrating on the building model right now.

Both the buildings look pretty good; are you going for a particular style?

Look good, on the first one the door is way too bright though, really distracting. and the edges are abit..edgy, but it's still good for a first one.
