King Kong is the... insert explative filled exclamation

The King has returned and is better than ever. This movie is the dream of every indie game developer out there: to leverage your success into getting to make your dream project with a nearly unlimited budget! Way to go Peter Jackson! He could have coasted after LOTR but like a true artist he keeps making his dreams a reality! Bring on the 2 H's. The Hobbit and Halo, baby!!!!

Me and my family watched this on the premier in my country at December 13th.

The next day I went out and bought the original black and white King Kong. I have to say that it was as great then as it was now. Just more special effects and stuff.

** Possible Spoiler alert in responses **

Without giving away any spoilers,
is it a true copy of the original?
same ending?

It's true, Darth Vader is Kong's real dad.

The story is 70+ years old. The ending is the same as in the Titanic.

Do you remember the scene in Titantic where DiCaprio stands at the front of the ship
and yells "I'm the king of the world!", well, King Kong does that same thing, and
I was kind of surprised that an ape could talk. :)

This comic (warning, somewhat offensive punchline) is just TOO appropriate here:

"There's a statute of limitations on this %$#@, man!"
