Any Mac Maya users out there?

I'm running Maya 6.5 on OSX and am having problems exporting to dts using Danny's exporter.
If there are no responses to this thread, it will confirm my suspicion that there is no Torque Mac Maya community or support out there.
Which sucks but is not the end of the world.
Fingers crossed, thinking positively, raising my consciousness...

I did. In this forum (Thread)but without any expert response so I thought I'd try a different tack and just see if anyone was listening :)
The Problem:
I follow your tutorial for exporting a "simpleShape2" and when I click "Export Shape" there's a pause, a beach ball and basically Maya just goes away (crashes). I've looked at the dump file and it's empty. So the process doesn't even appear to get going before it dies (or Maya is too paralyzed to document what happened).
NOTE: I did publish the contents of the dump in the above thread but it's not valid as I skipped a step in the process.
I've tried your sample files - same problem, same result.
I've rebuilt the file multiple times from scratch and carefully (I hope) followed all the steps but no joy.
I guess the first thing to clear up is whether the 6.0 version of the plugin is even capatible with 6.5 version of Maya 4 Mac. After that, trying to figure out what silly thing I'm doing wrong.
Specs:
Maya 6.5
OS - 10.3.9
RAM - 512 (soon to be upgrade)
Danny, any help, direction or hand holding will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The version 6.0 plugin will not work with 6.5. I don't remember if anyone recompiled the Mac version of the exporter for 6.5 yet. You might have to do a bit of digging around.

I'll dig around but to be honest I didn't have much success first time I did that.
You mention that Clark Fagot played a role in creating the 6.0 version, do you think contacting him would be an idea or would it be inappropriate? I don't want to pest over a free plugin but I'm at a loss as to what to do to get this moving.
Again, any thoughts, direction or suggestions welcome.
Thanks again :)
