Torque Logo

I was reading back over the Indie License Agreement again to make sure I read something right.
The license says I have to display an unmodified version or the torque logo for 4 seconds.
Is this strictly enforced?
I have made a small modification to the full size logo,
My mod
and was wondering if this would get enforced or not.
It does display for slightly more than 4 seconds, and I like the "powered by" notion, and since it didn't have it, I added it. With some little effects of my own of course.
Is this acceptable or is it strictly enforced?

Joshua, they're very strict about their logo; no changes are acceptable.

I'm still using the old GG logo, Do I have to upgrade to this logo? And can I have a black background with light-grey text?

Nice logo, shame you wont be able to use it, but it does look really cool.

I had hoped the change would be minor enough to allow use. In fact, I think it promots it better, but thats just me =P

I personally like the official logos alot, but I just wish there were black background alternatives for them.

I like the Torque logo, I hate the white background, I guess I'll just have to deal with it. The official responses to this very question about modified logos always results in the same answer. If you want to display a modified version of the Torque logo (or no Torque logo at all), you must purchase the commercial license.

I still don't see why there's such a fuss about the license. It says to use it unmodified and show it for 4 seconds. So, why not? Show the logo, move on, and have fun.

If you change the color of the background, then the actual logo is not changed is it?

You know, all the time you guys waste stressing over the logo could have been spent MAKING the game.

And Scott, I haven't the slightest problem showing the logo. Like I said, love it. And this community and the technology is something I'm quite fond of already(even though I've only been here a short time). It just detracts from the game startup to me.
I just think it should be spruced up abit.

Personally, I like the Torque Logo, I would just like it spruced up abit. Seems kinda Bland with that white background.And Scott, I haven't the slightest problem showing the logo. I'm modifying some of the gui and startup screens and hit upon the idea to mod it.

They should let us use the icon type logo. Looks a lot better in my opinion. That white background bites. There is my break time ... back to work.
