Where's the games?

by Jacob Wagner · in Torque Game Builder · 11/22/2005 (1:28 am) · 10 replies

It seems like there's very few games being shown in this part of the forum...

I'm sure there's a lot of people working on games, but why aren't they releasing them so we can see what fellow people are doing with t2d?

I recently re-piqued my interest in t2d and have been working on my spaceship game ala escape velocity nova (but its still very early in development). I do however plan to think up a few simple hotseat games and release them shortly, I just have the urge to actually complete something. :)

Hoo Rah.

Yeah, shots of peoples current developments is always cool.

This is a great thread.

I have one under development, but I don't really have anything good for a screenshot. I'm still laying foundation of it - sorry (plus, I don't get much time to work on it, so it'll probably hit Beta by the time my 1 year-old learns to drive; Melv, do you think we can get T2D 1.1 by then?).

Well I also had somekind of Stack Attack variant...but two days ago my HDD refuse to work, so now I am waiting for news from data recovery company. Anyway I will also wait until 1.1 sees the light of day.

Yeah... that was a bit uncalled for, really (even if you were just joking). Melv is not our gatekeeper. Melv has 1.1. He runs it everyday. Josh does too. Josh is the one that "packages up and releases." Garage Games is the publisher and Josh controls our destiny. If you want to be cranky, at least focus your attention at the right place!

Why are you so jumpy, man has made a joke, if you dont want to laugh then don't.

We all know that Melv and Josh works hard on T2D.

@Jason: Lighten up, man. I'm not cranky. I'm glad there's a forthcoming update. If I did, indeed, insult Melv's feelings, then I'll definitely apologize to him.

I'm just using it to prototype right now, so that's why I haven't been showing much as far as games go. Though I will be showing Lemmon's Workbench very soon, but it's not actually a T2D game (it was made using PopCap's SexyApp Framework). My next project, though, I hope to be able to demo in a few months using T2D.

Oh my god; what's going on! You'd have to do alot to insult my feelings *sniff*. ;)

Anyway, I just posted in the hope to squeeze more screenshots out of the community; always gives me a warm-fuzzy feeling inside to see stuff, no matter what. :)

Hmm...opportunity to push my T2D game, and this is on the market and selling:

The best way to learn an engine is to make it a project. (It pays for itself that way too)
