...hey, im a fairly experienced 3d max user...
...im doing a game design course.. im in my 2nd year..
the whole 2nd year is spent making an actual game.. aswell as some business subjects..
the deal is im on a student team of 4 at the moment and we have varying skillsets.. none of which involves an experienced programmer..
we have all dabbled.. and know if/else ..variables etc.. the bare basics.. but thats it.. i made some lil flash games etc nuthin to spectacular..
we are going to be using the Torque shader engine to make our game and i would like to have a programmer to consult on issues..
mainly just getting the engine compiled!..
we can do a lot ourselves using script and tutorials etc..
in exchange i can offer lessons in 3d .. i would tackle it from a programmers perspective (maths/logic).. i am a 3d max user but would be willing to download any freeware/trial app for the sake off said skill swop... the main fundamentals transfer to most apps!
a novel idea i know.... anybody interested?

i find the idea's perfectly reasonable.. there are many programmer's / 3d artists looking to learn other areas to better their overall game design abilities.. such as myself..
if you are commenting on me being in my second year while claiming to be an advanced max user .I have done previous courses specifically in 3d max . This is not my 2nd year using it.
