Hi,
Over the past couple of months i have been posting on here regular with news about my music soundpacks that i produce on my website Arteria-gaming.com.
Now.. we have developed a Tropical Theme Pack especially for Torque. The pack contains over 30 foilage items including palm trees, ferns, plants etc all in tropical style. Also the pack contains 10 rocks, 6 skycubes, and 10 music tracks.
The pack is perfect for anyone who uses to create Farcry style scenes.
The cost of the pack is very very cheap compared with what you get in it...
Please check out at:

Thankyou
Steve

Poly counts for foilage varies between 8 and 150 polys - some items are x billboards, whilst a lot of the plant models are more intricate - but still remaning at around 150polys.
The palms in the pack vary between 240 polys and the larger ones at approx 850 polys.
An important thing to note - all these foilage items have LOD's, especially with respects to their textures.
I found that having different texture resolutions at different LODS dramatically improoved frame rate.
By the way.. i also forgot tomention that all the packs contents animate! and can be used royalty free in your game, with no further payments to us. This applies to all the pack contents. All we require is a small mention in your game, to say we made them
Thanks
Stev

Great stuff.
The animation effects on the plants are nice, too.

Looks great. Good price, too. It took me a while to notice where the "buy now" button was. It may help to also put one at the bottom after you finish scrolling..Great stuff.

What were the skybox images rendered in? TSE.... Terragen?

If they were rendered in TSE... how did you get the sun and it's reflection looing so good?
Edit: Ignore that question, they were obviously not rendered in TSE; I'm guessing Terragen.

The skycubes were created by Skys the Limits. The images you see there are the actual sky image - one image of which makes up the sky cube
Thanks

About 55 USD. I personally find it very tempting.

I just did the currency conversion - The price works out in USD at $52
Cheers

Though I guess that means the pound has devalued a little more. It was at about 1.90 a while back wasn't it?

Have you tested the DTS's in TSE EA?

Some changes have been made, I'm sure. The Adampack for instance, does not work with TSE.

Thank's Stevie. Are the butterflies in your video 2 from the bravetree env pak?

Looks good.
What sort of poly count, texture count and size per model and can we expect from this pack? I check the web page but didn't see info on that. I apologize if I have missed it some where.
