Large shadow in horizon when sky texture is removed

As we near our recruitment deadline, I'm struggling to get hours of work... well... done.

I want to remove the grey gradient on the horizon, but I'm not sure how to. When I tried to remove the sky, the level refused to load (same thing for removing everything in the mission script that concerning fog).

Searches on the GG website didn't reveal any answers, unfortunately.

All help is -greatly- appreciated.

Turn off renderbans. They make fog work smoothly; in your case they make things look weird.

Thank you so much, especially for the compliment!

Don't mind the art... all assets you see are temporary; the cel-shading sucks, as it is now, and is nothing like it will be in a month or two... But this gives you a general idea of the art-style.
