Bug: I try to sign in and it redirects me

Well, if the subject didn't make things clear, when I tried to sign into the TDN, the link redirected me to the garagegames.com homepage.
I'm using FireFox if this is a problem on my part, although I can't imagine it would be; I've signed in without problems before.
EDIT: It occasionally works, now.

it's fairly annoying.
i'll be logged in to GG.com,
follow a link to TDN,
and have to click 'log-in' about 5 or 6 times before getting to the article.
firefox 1.5 rc 1.

FF 1.0.7
Though, even if I open it in IE, it still only works about 1/2 the time... which is better than FF (which has never worked)

I just tried to log in to TDN 10 times and none of them worked.

This is a major issue and I'm going to be working on it in the very near future. It does seem to be intermittent, so if you keep trying it eventually resolves (it's a matter of time, not number of tries - trying once every 30 seconds is plenty).
Also, we'll have Elixir launching soon, which will be exciting... ;)

Logins seem to be stable - the site update seems to have fixed it. Can people please confirm?

A little followup - I did a little bit closer analysis on the problem and there is actually a small chance that things will break, but it is now significantly less than before, by about a factor of 120. Rick and I are working on a more comprehensive fix, but since the holidays are nearly upon us it might take a little while to get it out.

I am using firefox on linux, although not sure this is an issue.
Thanks, Paul Z.

I have a related, problem, where as I click on login to TDN, I get a blank page... Nothing at all, just white page. I haveckecked "remember my login", and I can access private forums no problem... If I log out (using the logout button) and log in back them TDN loads fine...I am using firefox on linux, although not sure this is an issue.
Thanks, Paul Z.

There is some work being done on the TDN login stuff again, hopefully this is a temporary issue as we sort some things out.

If you encounter a login problem, wait a minute and try again. Make sure it's _really_ a minute. If you have to try more than 5 times then you've found a new bug and should contact me ASAP. Otherwise it's the same old time synch thing that will get fixed as soon as Rick and I are back in the office.
