Gaming schools

I've heard of all these schools that are getting in the gaming industry, my question is do companies hire people from these school because I looked at
Blizzard, THQ, Activision, ect....... and they require a four year college. Most the gaming school like Collins College and ITT tech. are only 2- 21/2. will any
of the big companies hire from a trade school.

What do you mean my references. I don't know anyone in the gaming industry. I worked in a restaurant my whole life and 9 of them were for the same company I worked there untill they sold the restaruant.
