Tge Vs. Tse

I am new to the TSE. Is it the intent that the TSE will replace the TGE in the future for all GarageGame game development or is the TSE headed in a different direction than the TGE?

Has anyone actually created any type of game with the TSE yet, or is it still just a demonstration platform?

TSE is not a "replacement" for TGE, because they are intended to target two different markets: TGE will be maintained for game developers that are targetting older generation platforms (lower cpu/memory, older graphics cards, etc.), while TSE is available for targetting higher end platforms.

There are 4 commercially released (or very soon to be released) games on TSE...and on consoles in fact. ThinkTanks, Marble Blast, and Orbz are all using TSE (with legacy, or TGE, terrain) are all on xBox Live Arcade, and Marble Blast Ultra is soon to be released on XBox 360.TSE is not a "replacement" for TGE, because they are intended to target two different markets: TGE will be maintained for game developers that are targetting older generation platforms (lower cpu/memory, older graphics cards, etc.), while TSE is available for targetting higher end platforms.

It might replace TGE in the future, no one knows.. but right now I think the intention is to keep both seperate and going (:
That's good, because most games are not ready for TSE (nor the consumor).
