Not unless you are using TGE as part of your product. Note that the TSE-Early Adopter commercial price is the same regardless of your TGE license status.

Hmm decided id take the time to go through the EULA since I havent really done it yet and something struck me as kinda odd:

(c) Licensee may not: (ii) reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the algorithms for the Engine

i don't really understand the point of this part of the agreement. isnt reverse engineering or deriving the algorithms for the engine pretty much necessary to understanding and expanding it? or does this simply refer to reusing the source code algorithms for a separate application or engine?

Are you planning on using the source code for things you probably shouldn't? Like combining it with OGRE and pirated Half-Life 2 and Havok source?

That would be a violation.

Searching, sorting, and understanding the source code either for yourself or the team is not a violation.

GG's licensing is a legal format which comes down to saving their butt in a marketplace, but they are much more liberal with it than the license lawyers at EA/Activision/etc that most people fear (use common sense and don't abuse it).

If you have specific questions as they relate to your game, GG willl be more than happy to answer them.
