Xbox 360 Controller for PC's

Wow! So now you can design your game for the Xbox 360 controller right up front. Additionally, you might actually be able to start getting away with producing a PC game that relies on a gamepad since there's going to be millions of 360 controllers out there. It might not end up being as great as it's potential suggests but it's probably the best attempt yet to get a nice unified multiplatform controller design.

Yeah I saw one the other day. I think it's a great opportunity to get gamepads onto PC's. The xbox controlers have always been of a superior quality than PC ones. Would be nive if more PC owners had a gamepad, would certainly help Aerial Antics.

The problem at the moment is that this requires the new October DX9 SDK to use and will only work with windows so no Mac or Linux support. The XBox 360 controller does not behave like a standard PC joystick and has a ton more buttons to boot (some of which are analog in nature (the triggers).
I've muched about with this and the support is a doddle to put into TSE but I couldn't shoehorn it into TGE without breaking stuff.
