What happened to gamebeavers?

by Alex \"bathala\" Rufon · in General Discussion · 10/17/2005 (10:01 pm) · 6 replies

With my business forcing me to travel a lot, I have been out of sync with the community. So this morning, I tried http://www.gamebeavers.org and got a DNS error.

Is this a DNS problem or is there really no GameBeavers anymore?

I just found a link to the site today and wanted to check it out, but I got the same thing.

Someone posted in here something that they were cracked a while ago, and haven't been up online since...if it's true that's too bad.

I do hope that haven't bitten the dust.

GameBeaver's concept is a really good idea.

Briton LaRoche ran it, his realy name was Britton Wesley. He also ran Amped Labs, which has gone under, and the released thier game textures on Turbo Squid not to far back.

Unless you can find Britton, and get an old copy of the site, I'd say its gone for good. You can get him at: britton_wesley@yahoo.com I believe.

The odd thing is he renewed the domain in Augaust, even though the site was down. Hmm.

Some registrars have auto-renewal for domain names.

Well he might want to just keep the name on ice for a while.
