Mac F11

I want to edit a mission. I hit F11 and I am not able to go into the editor.

I've different combinations using control, shift, etc. whilst pressing F11 and it is a no go.

I can get in to the gui editor using F10.

Anyone know why the F11 does not appear to work on Mac?
