Hi, I'm not very experianced woth the multiplayer side of Torque and was wondering how many players Torque would support on a dial-up connection, for a first person shooter.

With the host as a dialup? Or a client (on dialup) connecting to a dedicated server?

Tribes 2, technology that Torque is largely based off of, could support up to 120
players.

If its the server that is on dialup, I'd say...

The host would be on either T1 or cable.

If each client was on dialup I think you could do 64 players without much problem. Being as it's a fps I don't know how many more than that you'd actually have. So you should be ok.

I remember playing in a game of Tribes2 with 96 players.

It always depends on your game and what you're doing with it, guys! Tribes 2 could support 128 players, right?
