I have a good game idea and this will be in the 1st/3rd person.

You are a God or Goddess, and you control /make actual planet, universes and civillisations you direct which civillisations become all powerful , first on their planet and then in your gaxlaxy.

You can also make spirits and create your own heaven or hell planet or not depending on what you believe.

I would love to do this using the Torque Engine but I don't think it supports sphere/ball terrain, if it did you could use the editor as part of the game to make mountains and hills and add trees grass e.t.c

you would be able to walk about on the planet and do these things, possess your creatures, give your creatures invention skills, name planets and stars indiviually, chuck lightening down on those who displease you e.tc e.t.c even fly space fighters , starships, e.t.c

You would be able to control planet weather systems everything the thing is most of it is there if not in Torque in other engines and books. It would just be a question I suspect of getting everything together. vehicles are already part of Torque plus a.i and 1st person player controls.
Would anyone like to form a team to help me please?

Ian,
I think you're limiting yourself, why stop at controlling one Universe?
Good luck with the game :]

Thanks Unsung, I know it sounds a crazy idea but I think it can be done and I found out that in the book you can actually import terrain as an object.

If you can edit the sphere using the Torque Terrain editor then you can make hills and moutains use water blocks for oceans, rivers , ponds e.t.c.

I have some other idea's for this game and I shall try to make it myself, and your right Unsung , I am limiting myself to one universe when there could be a least 5 or 10 LOL.

Sounds like a classic 16 bit god game on steroids. There are some posts on spherical terrain on the forum that may be of use to you.

edit : gods should be able to move through time as well ;)

As a god you may as well be able to restructure the game and its executable into a malicious program that tries to destroy itself...
