Greetings!

Those are great sounding tracks. However, on your site I could not find any information on what exactly is in each of your packs. I know you wrote a little bit about them above, but you don't have the same information on your site (that I could find). I'm assuming that pack 3 includes all the tracks from pack 1 and 2, but I couldn't confirm this from the current information.

And it would probably be useful to post the names and styles (ambient etc) of the tracks in each pack.

And I just thought of something else that would help the purchasing decision: It would be great to include the length of each track and if it is loopable (or contains a loop point within it).

Oh, and what format(s)? Your samples are in .mp3 -- is that the form the packs are in or are they .mp3's just to keep them small?

Once again, great sample tracks. And especially the price! :o)

Agreed, it sounds great, but there is no indication of what is in each pack, except that pack 3 contains lots of extra ambiances.

Sorry guys.

Right pack 1 contains 10 tracks
pack 2 contains 15 tracks
pack 3 contains 20 tracks

pack 3 contains extra ambiences and music ambiences

The formats are in both MP3 and ogg

Each version of the pack, i.e. 1, 2 and 3 contains 2 sections each

INTRO/THEMES
ACTION

In the action part, we have music that could be used for the intro to your game or main theme.

Actions contains everything you need for the action sequences in the game

Most of the action sequences are in small sections that are loopable, and run for around 1 minute
In the action section, some tracks have multiple versions each - so you can easily switch between the parts to suit the mood of your game

The themes run for between 2-4 mins

Whats more, all these tracks can be used royalty free and with no further licensing from me

Thanks

Steve

Im also working on a Fantasy/RPG theme pack right now, which will work with Torque.

It will contain music, building models - including two full towns, and skycubes

Thanks

I actually started work on a music pack but stopped because I asked around and started to get the impression that nobody was really far enough along in their projects to be ready for music. And if they did want music, that they wanted something that was made spacific to their project. I decided to spend my time on individual projects and working on my own game ideas.

But I'd love to hear how this turns out for you Stevie. I don't know how you feel about putting your financial business out there especially to help potential competition but I'd listen if you care to share.

Hi Ajari

You know.. i have advertised my products on all the language forums, and here because i have been a member for some time.

I have sold loads of the packs, because i think ther is so much variety in the packs for so so cheap.

The feedback i have had is incredible and it seems above all else - i.e. model packs/grtaphics etc - that sound packs are actually very much in demand.

Thanks

Steve

Wow thank you for confirming that for me Stevie. That's exactly what I needed to hear. It makes all the difference in the world to hear from someone who has actually been there. Also, on the Dev Snapshots I found that the most popular genres being developed here are fantasy themed and cartoon game types coming in about even along with small arcade style games. But Sci-fi was overwhelmingly number one. Thanks again Stevie. I think I'll give it a shot.
