Is this the right forum for this? Well...

After 6-and-so months, our first TGE-based project is shipping. And it ain't a deathmatch FPS!

Check the link below for our release and a video (WMV) of the game:

Thanks to everyone in the forums that helped us get this thing done.

It definately isn't a FPS :] It looks neat, only 6 months of work?

Pretty nice and it's only been six months. Too bad this game is geared twards pre-teen girls. Almost seems like a waste. But as long as you have a market and your making money there's not much I can say. Maybe you guys should work on a Zelda style adventure and give yourselves a little more time. No doubt you'd be able to pull that off. I noticed the frame rate lagged heavily in some parts. What's the cause of that? Is it your PC or TGE? Great work though.

We had performance problems, and not enough time to optimize. Maybe use used more replicated trees than it's healthy to on TGE. The horses also had no LOD whatsoever, and for some reason they weren't getting culled when inside the stable interior, so the framerate would go down if you looket at the stable from outside.

Also, our alphatest patch was incomplete. While we suceeded in using alpha test instead of alpha blending, I couldn't keep the transparent meshes from being sorted and rendered in a 2nd pass. I was looking for a way to treat everything as opaque meshes when alpha test was enabled, but I couldn't do it in time (actually, I still couldn't do it - any help is appreciated regarding that).
