DTS and shaders

Hello!

I've been browsing forum/articles for a while now and I still haven't found an answer for the question which consumes me... Is it possible to bind a pixel shader to a particular DTS object?

What I want to achieve is to have a control on alpha factor of the mesh. Probably there is some more convinient method for doing this but unfortunately I don't know it.
