Tge Or Tse

Hi, i am thinking about buying the TGE. but then i \saw the TSE, where is the difference??
i am somwhat comfortable with the TGE because of the book 3dGPAi1.
is the TSE more powerful or is it just because of the shapers. also, where do i add the shapers? could i stil be using blender to do this?
can i use my old tge games on the tse
or does the tse require the tge?

TSE is a stand alone engine, but at the moment you need TGE to be able to buy it.
TSE has Atlas, the great looking water, shaders, bump mapping and lots of other cool stuff (more features on www.garagegames.com/pg/product/view.php?id=28)
Yes you can use your TGE games with TSE, you just have to port them over.

Shapers... you mean shaders? TSE is a stand alone engine, but at the moment you need TGE to be able to buy it.

TSE is stil in EA (Early Adopter) and thus requires a TGE license to purchase.
Eventually porting from TGE to TSE will be relatively easy, now its mostly alot of busy work (assigning materials etc) but your DTS files exported from blender or whatever work fine. The only thing you need to recompile is your DIFs.
So the prevailing wisdom is develop on TGE the port when your ready.
There are however, quite a few projects using TSE exclusively

Currently - TGE is for the mainstream. TSE is for recent hardware only.TSE is stil in EA (Early Adopter) and thus requires a TGE license to purchase.

You will need to port anything you made for TGE to TSE... I'm sure someone here can tell you how.
And blender should be fine for adding models to it.
