Linux support

I'm a linux game devloper (strange but true) and I use TSE quite often. Unfortunately, it is very inconvenient that I must run windows to use the engine which I need for work. So I've got a question: when TSE linux part will be ready? Is there something more do to apart from OpenGL support?

Ben & Brian both said that OpenGL is down the road, and it's now somewhat stable to start working with, unlike before. But first, they want to finalize the Direct3D implementation.
Like all other questions (When will TSE be out of EA? When will Atlas be in it's final state? When will dynamic lighting be in?) they can't really set a precise date. That's why we have the Milestones sheet.

I understand your point, so I'll just tell you that it has been mentioned before in a plan very recently. Of course, maybe you didn't know so you posted before using your head, to pick on me being relaxed, which is quite ridicolous. Fact still remains, it has been asked before and that's what I said. Nothing more, nothing less. No need to be a prick about it.Ben & Brian both said that OpenGL is down the road, and it's now somewhat stable to start working with, unlike before. Anyway, yeah, that comes when it comes, and we're not currently quoting dates. But we don't quote dates on much else, either. So...

I know in software development schedules are flexible at best but are we talking days, weeks, months, years? It would just be nice to know how far to get ones hopes up of the MS3 features

On a side point but related point, is there any indication of how far away Milestone 3 is?I know in software development schedules are flexible at best but are we talking days, weeks, months, years? It would just be nice to know how far to get ones hopes up of the MS3 features
