Where is all the resrources and new ideas for RTS/RPGs?

This forum looks pretty bleak. The RTS kit is a fantastic step for developing strategy games and RPGs but it seems like no one is talking about them or creating any new resources. With the camera, lighter rtsunit, and other things, I would have thought this forum would be ablaze with new ideas for RPGs and RTS. Has anyone tried creating a rpg? Adding inventories? Making a sqaud based strategy game? Etc? What about space rts, or simple multiplayer shooters like freespace or something. Anyone? Post your ideas and thoughts, what you think is working and not. I think there are tons of rpg and those type of resources for the stock FPS engine but it seems like this one just screams out Diablo, WC3, Freespace etc.

Of course :) But there's only one page of stuff and most of them are almost a year old. Just wondering where all the cool new stuff is. Adding inventory to RTS units, making WC3 type heros with special spells/skills. Modifying the engine for a 3d space game like homeworld or freespace. That kind of stuff.-Will

I have edited my version so the selecting works differently. I believe I found some bugs along the way although I need to actually check. I also changed how it creates the selected icons (the ones on the bottom of the screen) and made it so you can click on the icons to only select or remove that type from the current selection.
I was planning on going back over the selection stuff and then try working on allowing queing of commands.

More on the rpg side of things:
Have 1-8 characters which can all be selected, grouped or have a "portrait" that can be clicked on
Each character has individual inventory
Having a character info kind of like Warcraft 3 where you can have them do various things and they have hotboxes for special abilities, including autocast.
Things of that sort,

Queing of commands is a great idea. Would add a bit more strategy and also adding waypoints as part of that would be cool. I had some ideas that I think would be cool whenever I get a chance to work on them.More on the rpg side of things:
