GtkRadiant?

Anyone given any thought to writing something up for GtkRadiant that would take the Q2/Q3 .map format and add all the twiddly bits that make it into a Half-Life/WorldCraft/map2dif-ready file?

I believe it was looked at in the past.

Check the EULA that comes with gtkRadient. I believe the reason it was never followed up on is that id limits the use of the editor to software add-ons for for id products only and then only for non-commercial use.

Hmm... I do know that someone is/was working on a Half-Life game pack for GtkRadiant (IIRC, still is; I know one of the GtkRadiant coders and he seemed to imply that it was in an IRC chat)... puzzling.
