IGC, TBC (Torque Boot Camp)...

I have just spent $230 on torque, know a little modeling and know a little coding. Now would it be worth it to go to IGC and Boot camp while knowing so little? Would the information I would learn be within my technical scope?

Even if some of the information turns out to be more advanced than you are ready for, just getting exposed to the instruction will help you when the time comes for you to review and learn those few topics.
We are carefully pacing the topics we will cover for a wide variety of skillsets--we want the experienced Torque developers to have a good benefit from the Boot Camp, but we also recognize that not everyone that would benefit from the classes are highly experienced Torque Developers...prior to the camp we will be sending out "pre-study" materials that will also help you get up to speed.
Besides that, IGC is an outstanding experience...even if you elect not to go to the Boot Camp, you should seriously consider coming to IGC!

IGC (and the Indie TBC) is actually more than a month away, and with just a little effort per day you will have a great perspective for the information we will cover at the Boot Camp.Even if some of the information turns out to be more advanced than you are ready for, just getting exposed to the instruction will help you when the time comes for you to review and learn those few topics.

For me, I can afford a day off work for IGC, and i would really love to go to the torqueBootcamp I cant afford the time off from my day-job, especially since i am not focused on tge.
If you are serious about TGE, then over the next month you will read the 3D-All-in-one book and be ready for the bootcamp.

@Linhart: if you are focusing on TGE, then at minimum, you really really should do what Joseph says: get a copy of "3D Game Programming All In One". I have not used it (I am t2d only), but EVERYONE on the forums who talks about it says how great it is.For me, I can afford a day off work for IGC, and i would really love to go to the torqueBootcamp I cant afford the time off from my day-job, especially since i am not focused on tge.
