GarageGames @ PAX, this weekend

Just a public reminder:

GarageGames and many of it's employees will be attending the Penny Arcade Expo this weekend. Be sure to stop by the GG booth and see what we are up to, or just stop by to say "hi".

See everyone there (and in the tournaments!)

PAX was great as usual, I'm glad you guys were around. Marble Blast was very entertaining and it was very cool to see all the games on the show floor using torque.

Oh and how's legions coming along?

I had a great time at PAX, it was my first time going to a game convention! It was awesome to see so many familiar faces, and meet some that I have known from Renwerx and from Garage Games/ Great Games Experiment. I also ran into Anby, a T2 player from Elite Warriors and Tribes all around, on my last morning there, while we were waiting to go in. I heard that Enigma was there also!
It was exciting seeing all the varying Industry Titles and peeps, and the management teams, panels, as well as the Q and A times with the Legends of the Industry.
Listening to Wil Wheaton was pretty fun too! The GG guys guessed who I was, that was cool!
I got a walkthrough by the developer of Blockland. He showed me all the cool stuff the character could do and all the neat environments and some of the special treats you will find there as well. It is a very dynamic game, with great color environment and exciting texture and graphics. I got owned by the GG team in Marble Blast. Those marbles are dangerous!
There was so much to do and so many people that sometimes I was a walking zombie LOL. It was a staggering presentation, the people so well behaved, and PAX pulled off a VERY successful event.
I also met Dave Williams and Ed Stark from Red 5 Studios, now that was neat too! I am really intrigued with their endeavor.
Overall I had a fantastic time. My thanks to word for putting me up, and Bugspray for helping me find my way around in Seattle. Dinner was great at the Six Arms as well.... thank you word!
oh yeah, I played Mario Party Saturday Night, and got second place at word's house!! woot woot
I am gonna go next year, only I hope to drag as many of my friends there as possible!
Badazz, signing off!
