Stealth Platformer games: mario meets snake

I made this game a while back, called Splinter Source. Essentially what you've got is a cross between splinter cell/metal gear and mario... A bit of an odd concept, but I went ahead and created it anyways. Just thought I'd share this little bit of stealth gaming with everyone
Heres an online version with a high score board. You'll need to download an extension to play though. Scroll to the very bottom, and look on your left hand side:

And here is an offline version with no high score board. However, you won't need an extension (1.7 mb):
From Home of the Underdogs
http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=5193
----------
Although the controls are included in the readme, heres a quick overview of them for your convenience:
Walk - left/right arrows
Jump - Shift
Grab Pole - Up (while close to a pole)
Hide in shadows - Up (while in shadows)
Punch - Left/Right + Ctrl
Draw gun - Ctrl (can be done while hanging from a pole)
Fire - Shift (while gun is drawn) note: you do not start with bullets
A few rules:
- Falling down on guards from a sufficient height (about 2 blocks) will knock them out.
- Punching guards from behind while they're not alert will knock them out
- Shooting guards while they're not alert will kill them instantly
----------
Now here's what I need help on. I'm currently producing a superior sequel (that has nothing to do with the splinter source) called Iron Nail which is similar but very different. Iron Nail will contain different guard types, weapons, a bigger map, more objectives, and a lot more things I won't bother to list atm. For now, here are some screens of Iron Nail:

(note that the background graphics are tempoary)
And here is an official International Game Developer's Association report on a conference in which Splinter Source and Iron Nail were presented in:

Currently the game is made using a middleware application called multimedia fusion. I'd like to code this in something a little more efficient. So, if anyone wants to help me make this game, drop me a line at:

Could be a good candidate for either Torque 2D (if you want to make a super spiffy version and/or you want cross platform compatibility) or the Popcap game engine (if you dont care about windows only but want to reach more low-end systems).
