Buying TSE or not???

Hi! I am proud owner of TGE for over a year and half, and I started to feel comfortable(not sure if thats the word) with the engine. I am thinking of purschasing TSE also but I have a few questions. How complicated is it? If I am comfortable with adding my own code, and code from resources to TGE is it the same with TSE. I know that there is still a lot of work on TSE so I am wondering, when it comes to compiling, scripting, adding models, scripts, and rest is it the same as TGE or is much more complicated?
I am programmer and I am really tempted to see TSE, but i wouldn't like to mess with it too much, at least not yet. So, should I wait or should I buy it? (Oh man, I hate this kind of questions) :)
Thanks in advance :)
P.S. Sorry for my engglish but it's not my native language :)

Screen-shots and the demos never did anything for me.... sure, I figured that the new shaders might make things look better, but honestly, none of what I saw in the demos really impressed me. Maybe a mirror on an interrior would've, but heck, Sims2 has mirrors.
I got TSE because my FPS project (Renegades by RenWerX) is switching over to it before we get too far into coding, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it.
Then I saw it... real... on my computter.... with the new terrain and the water... omg... buy it.

At $150, if you enjoy using torque, you should be ashamed not to buy and support the completion.. plus, the shaders are just awesome..
I plan to dev along the tge path, then port to tse when its more complete
BUY and SUPPORT!!

Thats a little harsh... especially given that some might be holding out for things such as non-shader fallback as well as some of the wankier compatibility/speed issues to be solved first. I plan to buy it next milestone myself...

Don't blame you... my sticking point was terrain size and waterblock size... since that was fixed with MS2 then that's when I bought.

Just my .02$

I'm sorry if that sounded harsh.. It's just that I'm glad I didn't have to wait on ppl "holding out" for a feature in order to buy a finished tge. Like I said, I bought it to support the development of the product.. I'm not even using tse now, it is shelved until it is more compete.. But I do feel a certain commitment to support the developers, and I want to help in the development . I have purchased several content packs, combo pack, and other resources. Do I use them all? No. But I believe in funding my addiction (lol) so at least I can buy and help push these devs move forward.Just my .02$

Anyway thanks for all your answers, you actually backed up my decision to purchase TSE (Only I didn't know that yet :) )
Thanks one more time :)

Yes I agree that 150$ is way to cheap for something like TSE (or 100$ for TGE). And you are right, supporting developers is critical for further development of this product.Anyway thanks for all your answers, you actually backed up my decision to purchase TSE (Only I didn't know that yet :) )
Thanks one more time :)
