Blender + Transparencies.

Hi!

I'm having some problems getting tranparencies to work on my DTS shapes exported from Blender. Now, the .png files are correct, with alpha, but I'm not famialr enough with blender to get it working.

The object shows up fine, but with no transparent parts. I'm assuming im missing a slider or some valua i need to assign in Blender.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

Tha worked, thank you!

I do have another question though:

Is there an auto sorting function ( is that the right term?) some of the branches on my trees are invisible as I move around it, and the ones behind are rendered instead. Kinda confused about how to fix it.

Thanks!

Well, its just a converter. How does it know which items to sort? Don't get me wrong, I'm about to try it, just a little confused. :)

Well, it -kinda- works, but not as well as I need for trees.

Thank you for the resource :)

Does anyone have any information on blender and SORT functions?

YAY! Thank you!

Do you know if this adds any additional overhead to the rendering, or poly count?

Well, it seems to crash when ever I try to use an object that was SORTed on export.

Anyone have any thoughts? Surely other people have come across a need for SORTing in blender. :)

Thank you!

Good idea. I moved the discussion on the SORT function over here: CLICK
