Just, wow. Dont even try to downplay it on any level, just look.

I don't think that this work is out of range for this community. These guys are talented and skilled and focused. The technology and art are top notch and on par with each other and together it is amazing what they have created. I don't know about the sound and animation, but I know that the art and tech are possible for this community. The images knock you off of your feet at the first 100 viewing, but after that you start to break down what you are seeing and you can see how to do it yourself. That is why the blue creature is my desktop background. So I could break it down to figure out how to make it. Plus it looks cool as heck!!!

It's sweet looking, isn't it! I have a snapshot of that blue creature as my desktop background. The video are AMAZING aren't they! Here's a couple snapshots from their website for those of you who don't know if this game is worth looking at.

BTW the guys working on this are the same people that made Savage (a FPS-RTS game) which was also an IGF Winner in 2003 I believe. But it does go to show what you can do with a small talented group of people. You most definately don't need a large group of people to make an indie game, contrary to the popular misconception that goes on here.

I'll definately check out the movie(s) when I get home.
At home now.... WOW

Like everything else though, the tradeoff for developing such a skill level is probably pretty high. I'll definately check out the movie(s) when I get home.

It's definately cool, but I'll hold off getting too excited till I see gameplay. you will be amazed at what can be done if you don't have to interact too much with the visuals. Hope it works out to be as good as they are suggesting in the video's :)
