Ok so my name is Kenric Robinson, but you can call me Romel. any way I'm working on a online RPG game, that is taking a lot out of me. I spent night and day for months just coming up with the white page, and now its time to put it together. any way the game has to do with a planet named Orithu, thats in the same age as earths med-evil times.the game is built aroung six kingdoms and a story line thats out of this world. What Im trying to do with this that i haven't really seen in other online RPG games is to give this game a point. (no offense to others) rather then just roaming around a plain world with bad graphics. What I'm getting to is that this game has what it takes to change the online gaming forever, but im sadly short on a team ang thats why i came here i know it's a little to much to ask but does any one live in Michigan i could use your help to all programers. and any body elese that is willing. i wish that i could say more about the game but for now i have to keep it on the down low so for now call it Project Heart.

500 pages seems a tad longer than a "whitepaper".. it's probably more along the lines of a "architecture spec" or something. But yeah, send it to me and I'll give you feedback... good or bad :)

I dont mean to belittle you, but honestly, game ideas are a dime a dozzen. Good game ideas are maybe $1 a dozzen.
What will make your game great isnt the "plan" as much as the "people". Make sure you are surrounded with tallent greater than you,
and then you will go places.

Meh.. i'm not interested, i just felt like helping you out with a "peer review". I dont mean to belittle you, but honestly, game ideas are a dime a dozzen. Good game ideas are maybe $1 a dozzen.

A little bit of Joe Maruschak's VERY good advice. I'd recommend reading through his blogs. They rock.

I adhere to good advice (or hope that it adheres to me). His advice of starting small is excellent advice for new developers (and framing it within the context of 'choosing what your team is capable of doing' is a qualification to the advice that's often not given). Over the years, I've seen 99.9% of proposed projects fail (and it may be higher). Utilizing Joe's advice may not create the Everquest killer from a team of one who is using web resources to learn C programming, but it gives perspective and finishing advice that is excellent.

it's pretty much a longer version of what i mentioned before.. it's the people, not the idea that makes the world go around :)

Yeah i think that blog is good too.. especially about picking a project that you CAN finish..it's pretty much a longer version of what i mentioned before.. it's the people, not the idea that makes the world go around :)

If it matters, I am currently only 2D only, and probably not in a state to work on anyone else's project. But i will give you feedback. But if you dont want to waste your breath, i wont be hurt if you dont send me an email :)
