Billboarding Exporting Problem

Hello... I am testing out the billboarding techniques for the first time in Milkshape 3D. It all works fine (before I use the "firstface: BillboardZ" in the groups tab), but once the I add the "firstface: BillboardZ function and export it to milkshape, my trees disapear...? any help on this? am I doing something wrong? It's giving me a huge headache, and all I want to know is how to make a decent Billboard type of object...

is your material named something like "tree: Trans" ?
Are you making the polygon is on the proper axis inside of milkshape? (i.e. in the side view panel?)
