Game Making Contest

Hi everybody,

I am looking for people who would want to have some fun competing in little contest on making a game or more. I am part of a little group, who is all pretty new to making games, but we are together to learn. My idea is to find anyone else who is willing to compete against us.

The way this will work is simple. I need a few judges, and some teams with similiar experiece as us or individuals who can make their own games (individuals can have lots of exp.) A generic theme will be decided as the idea behind the game. Each team will then have a set time, like a month, to complete the game. Then the judges choose which game plays the best, has the best graphics, and which is the game to play overall.

No prize is involved, it is just all for fun and to help us newbers get some real experience and a boost to actually make something. Email me if your interested.

Have you considered taking part in a GID event? They occur roughly once a month and open to individuals or teams. Each event is based around a theme. You may be thinking on a larger scale than GID, but I thought I'd mention it in case you wern't aware it exists, its great fun :)

Just remember that GID is NOT a competition.
