When i export from Maya 6 it says "no bounds are found"?
How would i go about fixing this or getting bounds?

Are you sure you have your detail markers set up properly?

???? ok all i did was make 3 boxes and made it look like a fence so i can learn how to export static models and then you told me i need a bounding box because thats what a bound is... now whats a detail marker?....

It typically includes
Embed Shape
Register Details (in which the data that you are exporting needs to be named accordingly for LOD - example Sphere3 would work appropriatly)
Create Bounds
Once you do this...exporting maya data will work like a charm!

Ok, now that i could export it, when i loaded it in the game it was very VERY small!!! Whats wrong with it now

It's very small. =)
Scale it up in maya. 1 unit in your 3d software equals 1 meter i torque if I remember correctly.

Ok thx, but now my model has no texure and i can run through it...

It has no textures, because the texture is either not there, the wrong size (512x512 or less) or you used a procedural one. remember for games they can only be image maps..
you can run through it because you dont have a collision object..
Most of these questions can be answered if you run through danny's tutorials.. Very good..

Dude, you seriously need to READ FOR YOURSELF and stop expecting people to hold your hand through every step. But here you go, here's one more step for you.Quote:
If the camera's display is behaving oddly after changing the unit scale (e.g. odd clipping), change the camera's near clipping to .001 and its far clipping to 10000.
To access the camera's near and far clipping attributes:
1. Open Outliner (Windows > Outliner).
2. Select the camera.
3. Press ctrl-a to open the Attribute Editor.
4. Change the near clipping attribute to .001 and the far clipping attribute to 10000.

I don't mean to be rude... sorry. Feel free to keep asking questions when you get stuck, but always try to find it yourself first. :)

I've had collision problems too. I think that this exporter is made for Maya 4 and 5 though and not Maya 6 and that is why we are having problems. I could be wrong though and I hope to God that I am. I love Maya and have spent 3 years of my life mastering it lol so it would be nice if it worked out.

"bounds" is the bounding box, you need to create it. I'm using 3d studio, but I quicky just looked through the maya docs and it's all in there.
