Check this cheat out! works for every level so u can beat it

Ok. first off i would like to thank the 2 people who helped me out on this forum. i dont know wut thier names are but they wer awsome. one helped me skip lelels by clickin the lower right part of the screen and the other gave me the knowlege and majic of "$testcheats = 1;" i couldnt do it without u. i was just foolin around and i found it out. it helped on the tuff ones and gave me gold times (like "00:00.00" one each level).anyways, here it is:
first open a level
then type ' (or for some of u,controll F10)to bring up the window thingy
then type $testcheats = 1;
type ' again to close it
here comes the fun part ready? type F8 and u have a camra thing, its awsome.
move it around with the w,a,s,d keys and camramode are the arrows(just like controlling the marble)
(to get gold time or qualify,press esc and click restart. your cam will be in the same place)
move the camra over the finnish and press F7 to drop it. you then will win or wutever.
its not that comlpicated u can probably(or already did) figure it out. i use a imac G5, if it canges any thing. hope ur satisfied!

What do you mean? We're both confusing each other now!

By the way, where did you get the equals signs? I never mentioned them.
So anyway, the cheat dosn't work, and I want to try it.

On the mac bundled version the ~ key is replaced by ctrl-F10

I tried ctrl-F10 and the console came up, but when I typed $testcheats=1, it just said Syntax Error. Also, if Parker had a G5, wouldn't he need to press ctrl-F10 insted of ~? Does Alex mean the MarbleBlast that came with mac computers when he says 'mac bundled version'?All very confusing!

Dont press shift. press '. sorry about cnfusion. i hav a g5. wutever window brings it up. ime posotive u type $testcheats = 1; to make it possible. dont shift on it exept for the $ sign. space between the s and = and space bettween = 1. once u get it it is awsome. its not that confusing once u get it. trust me.

3, type ' to get the console window off the screen

4, so fly around and drop the marble by pressing F7. u should get it after a while its not that confusing. sorry about the typos and cunfusion or wutever.

its not that complicated wen u get it! if it doesent work, exeperement after typing $testcheats = 1; in the console window

I can open the console with ctrl-F10, but $testcheats = 1 just gives me a Syntax Error!

if u tried everything and it dosnt work,...u didnt do it right or it doesnt work on ur computer. however it doz on mine. i dont see why it would be a difference on ur computer becouse they are both macs. sorry for the inconvenience.
it realy doz work. whenever u type stuff on the console window, before the thing u typed there is ==>.

Ok gabe chill out for a sec. i might have a different computer so it might be funny. the reson it says syntax error is becous its "$testcheats = 1;" exactly as typed only no ". it really works. this is it exactly. type this:$testcheats 1;

When i type control and F7 it sends me back to start (witch is good for not losing) but im not sure what you ment exactly. F8 doesnt do anything on mine but thanks!!!

If you cant get $testcheats = 1; to work, it's probably because you didn't press the ";" It's small but important. Also, make sure that you have a space between s and = and another after =, but none after the $
On a mac (and maybe a windows) you press f10 not ~
There is a way to do gem levels like this but I'm not going to tell you, you little cheaters.
Furthermore, $testcheats = 1; is actually the entrance to the LEVEL EDITOR which means that with some skill you can actually make YOUR VERY OWN LEVELS.
BTW, after you type $testcheats = 1; make sure you press f11. He might have stated this.
I have a g4 so I know that you press f10 on macs.
Interesting note about f7, barker. I'm sure I can use it practically.
PS: after reading the OP, I honestly didn't know about the f7 or whatever to drop. Honestly, If you can't get that to work, there's another way to do it and if you re-read my post very carefully you might figure it out.
The one thing I don't understand is: Why? MBG is a great game, and cheaters can cheat, but hey, the honest people will be playing and enjoying a lot longer. Sometimes it is nice to get to get past a very hard level like Will-O-Wisp or an annoying one like Block Party. No one will punish you, so I guess you can do whatever you want. But you would not imagine the feeling you get when you beat a SOB level like Escher's Maze for the first time, or when you finally make gold on all the levels in a class, or your first gold advanced level.
So, whatever, have fun however it comes to you. And, hey, maybe some day you'll take my advise and make an awesome level and post it for everyone. Until then, have a great time at MB or MBG.

Actually you can press ~ on a mac, but only if you have purchased the game. The reason it is f10 for you is probably because you have marble blast pre-installed on your computer.

Is there a way you can use this to beat the levels that have gems? or is there a cheat you can use to beat levels that have gems?

If you're trying to skip a level that you can't beat, PLEASE DON'T CHEAT. Just click the lower right hand corner of the screen when you're in the level selection menu, and you'll automatically qualify for the next level without actually having to beat the current level.

Ive done that already..so if u unlock all the levels without actually beating them *like having your name and time shown* you can make custom levels?

Another cool thing: if you have OSX with Expose (10.3 or later), hit F10 (show all windows in an app) in fullscreen mode and you will see this code window. It isn't the actual code for the game, but you can enter stuff, although I have no idea what it actually is. I thought mabye this was where you were supposed to type the cheat, but it didn't work.
By the way, I have a G4 iBook.
