Feet or Meters in Torque?

I'm just the lowly designer, not a programmer, but my lead programmer assures me that Tribes 2 and Torque used metric values for distance, weight, and velocity. So I went into a T2 game (had to reinstall WHAT A FRIKKIN CHORE THAT WAS) and did some random measurements.

Now obviously I don't know the actual scale used in the game world of Tribes 2...they could be three meter tall giants in the futere, for all I know. I assumed this was not the case and went with a base 6 feet, or about two meter, height for my scout. I used beacons as measuring points for different things like (as designed) vehicle size and building size. Also, as a test, just a distance from a beacon that read as 10. That 10 sure didn't look like 10 meters to me, so I'm confused now.

I realize that you could probably do anything you want with the distance, via code, but I'm wondering what the default is in Torque.

One World Unit = One Meter

So...how tall would you say that a scout armor is? Just out of curiosity?

IIRC, the light armor's two meters in height.
