I found this post on the Discreet 3DS Max boards and felt that the following URLs would be of great help to those of you who have not been fortunate enough to be taught 3DS Max professionally or are interested in learning how to use the program (but for some reason or another seemed to have misplaced your Tutorial book :).

You're going to have to resort to your manuals that came with your software, buying a book on bones and biped, or finding a book on the subject at your local library if you want to learn how to setup and use Bones and Biped properly.

To my knowledge there are no online videos like this that are free. You're going to have to resort to your manuals that came with your software, buying a book on bones and biped, or finding a book on the subject at your local library if you want to learn how to setup and use Bones and Biped properly.

Now, I know I could just do the tutorials, but few things are so painfully tedious. Videos are sooo much better.

Sorry for reviving a very old thread but I found these videos very helpful. As someone who's almost entirely self-taught in using 3DS Max, it never ceases to amaze me how much I can learn looking over the shoulder of someone who's had some training - and I've been working with 3D Studio since it was a DOS program! Watching these videos I realize how long I've been doing certain things the hard way. I get a welt from slapping myself on the forehead over and over ;) Now, I know I could just do the tutorials, but few things are so painfully tedious. Videos are sooo much better.
